The jeep ride is bumpy and can be dusty – not recommended for pregnant women or those with serious back issues.
Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes as the canyon’s wooden walkways may be wet or uneven.
The water in Sapadere’s pools is ice-cold even in summer – enter slowly and supervise children when swimming.
Dress modestly for the village mosque (shoulders and knees covered, and women bring a headscarf).
Bring some cash for extra expenses (drinks, optional cave entry, souvenirs) as card payments might not be available in the village.
In summer months, guides often organize fun water fights between the Jeeps – consider packing a waterproof pouch for your electronics if you join in!
